Description

Refurb: This product has cosmetic defects justifying the applied reduction. These irregularities do not affect its functionality: use remains identical to that of a standard module. The photos show the classic model for illustrative purposes.

This foraging area is designed to connect the breeder to the colony.

It is here that you can bring food to your ants, and it is this place they will prefer for depositing their waste.

The foraging area has a lid to prevent ants from escaping. It also has a peripheral ceiling to apply anti-escape liquid, allowing it to be used without a lid, according to your preference.

The size L foraging area measures 12 cm on each side and 2.5 cm in height. It has 4 connection holes and comes with 3 stoppers.

This foraging area is available with either a small or a large lid. The large lid, entirely made of plexiglass, covers the entire peripheral ceiling and allows for complete transparency over the entire foraging area. The small lid, on the other hand, is held on the perimeter of the peripheral ceiling using a 3D-printed part.

Precautions for use

Be careful not to expose PLA products to temperatures above 45°, this could damage them.

Screw-in accessories should not be tightened with excessive force. Once the thread reaches the end, it's done; there's no chance of ants getting through.
