Module connection guide
Has your colony grown well and needs more space? Here's a step-by-step guide to adding a module to your existing ones. Here's how to connect two modules together. The same method applies to connecting three or even four.
In the following illustration images, the module on the left represents the existing module, in which the ants are located. The module on the right represents the new module to be added.

Start by removing the screws surrounding the connection port you wish to use, whether on the existing module or on the new module.
You will then need to remove the feet on either side of these connection ports by simply pulling on them.
Retrieve the nuts from these feet. A simple method is to start screwing a screw into these nuts from the bottom and pull the screw toward you to remove the nut.
Once you have retrieved the nuts, you need to place them in the connectors of the two modules you will be using. Since the nuts and connectors each have a slight margin of error regarding their dimensions, it may happen in rare cases that the nut is not held securely in the connector. If this is the case, you can use a piece of tape to close the connector and hold the nut inside. You will remove it once the connection is complete.
Then place the connectors under the module already in use, then screw them from above the module.
Now comes the slightly trickier part, where you shouldn't confuse speed with haste. You'll need to remove the cap from the connection port you want to use and place the new module against it, while snapping it into the connectors of the two modules you placed previously.
You can breathe, the ants now have access to the new module and can no longer get out.
All that remains is to secure the new module by screwing it to the connectors of the two modules added in the previous step.
